General information
The press centre is located on the Yellow Level (Ground Floor) of the Austria Center Vienna (ACV), and it is open from Monday to Friday, 23–27 April 2012, from 8am to 6pm. It will be run by the EGU Media and Communications Officer Bárbara T. Ferreira, who is happy to receive requests to interview scientists and other questions (see contact details below). Student helpers will also be available to assist the participants.
Complimentary breakfast and lunch, including coffee and soft drinks, are provided in the press centre from Monday to Friday.
Facilities at the press centre include a room for press conferences, an open lounge for catering, and working and communication rooms equipped with PCs, a printer, telephone and fax as well as microphones, speakers and other technical material (please contact the EGU Media and Communications Officer for details). There are also several side rooms available for interviews and detailed briefings.
The ACV contains two fully equipped radio studios and one TV studio, available on request. Wireless LAN will be available in all rooms of the press centre, as well as in other areas of the ACV.
